A celebrant's job is mostly telling stories, in Kelly and James's ceremony I told the story of how during their relationship James managed to get Kelly (formerly very against camping) to love it. The story culminated with a proposal that combined Kelly's newfound love of camping with James's love of the music of Taylor Swift. On a camping trip, he proposed with Taylor playing in the background - and she said yes. I was the celebrant for their equally romantic wedding at the Portsea Hotel, where they were married with the ocean in the background.
